Goldfinch plays Motopony’s Cd Release in Tacoma

There’s lots of lovely handmade stuff in Tacoma. We like handmade stuff, and all of these bands have a special place in the collective hearts of the Finches. Motopony (featuring our friends, Daniel Blue and Josiah Sherman, who incidentally played keys on our record), Barton Carroll (who also played on our record), and Indian Valley Line (our good friends, tour sharers, and booking agency roster mates) are all teaming up to kick off one very labored over and very sweet release party.

It’s at Urban Grace. It’s ten bucks. Tickets are on sale here at Brown Paper Tickets.

These posters are hand designed and hand pressed onto fancy old fashioned recycled cotton paper and they’re made by two local artists, Chandler O’Leary and Jessica Spring.

Odds are, we’ll all end up on stage singing on at least one of each others’ songs. We’re friendly like that.

You should do an acoustic show at the Empty Sea in Fremont, that would be great!!!
    See you at the Tractor

I attended the motopony cd release show and was deeply moved by your music, songwriting and harmonies! I’ve been listening to your cd since- up and down the I-5 corridor.
Looking forward to catching another show and bringing pals along for the sweet ride!
    Thank you for your passion.

Thank you both! Introduce yourselves next time you’re at a show. We love making new friends.
